With an extended leg and a bit of luck Galo Era prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 10 played minutes Chacachita FC got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Abrea. 11 minutes into the game, Chesus Herencia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chacachita FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oriente Petrolero the free kick. Chesus Herencia kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Chacachita FC's goalkeeper Galo Era had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Batista Negro. In the 18th minute, Oriente Petrolero's Batista Negro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitorino Vi in the 22nd minute of play forced Oriente Petrolero's goalkeeper Xano Alcantara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Batista Negro in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Galo Era saved Chacachita FC from getting behind. If Bizen Soveron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Josue Maestro came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Oriente Petrolero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josue Maestro couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes in the game, Batista Negro dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Chacachita FC's Galo Era played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josue Maestro in the 34th minute of play. In the 36thth minute of the game Joakim Söderberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chacachita FC's Galo Era was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Galo Era showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josue Maestro, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. With an all-out effort, Oriente Petrolero's Galo Era threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Batista Negro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Joakim Söderberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Galo Era having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vitorino Vi was the one to do the kick off. 61 minutes into the game, Tunc Reha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Galo Era was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Batista Negro came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Oriente Petrolero fans jumped to their feet.
