Spectators: 6809 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1809, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dolfo Abastas kicked off to start the match. Sansone Abajas kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Rubio Abaurre acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 3rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Elizardo Ribalta. Bizi Aballe hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Romeo Urria got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Aztore Grandoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efren Abello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Dolfo Abastas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aztore Grandoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Efren Abello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aztore Grandoso having to make a save. 16 minutes into the game, Pedro Escrig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arillanga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portugalete FC the free kick. In the 17th match minute, Arillanga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Escrig to maneuver through the defense. Aztore Grandoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dolfo Abastas's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Efren Abello during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Portugalete FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efren Abello to maneuver through the defense. Sanson Ca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 27 minutes into the match, Portugalete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Urria came free, but Rubio Abaurre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sanson Ca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Portugalete FC's Bizi Aballe got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Rubio Abaurre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Urria in the 34th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Sanson Ca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arillanga's supporters rose to their feet, but Sanson Ca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubio Abaurre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 40 minutes, Argi Ma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arillanga and the Portugalete FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Arillanga getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Argi Ma hit a great ball. Dolfo Abastas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urdaspal Aceituno charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urdaspal Aceituno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Arillanga got a freekick which was hit by Urdaspal Aceituno. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Romeo Urria made the kick off in the second half. Rubio Abaurre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sanson Ca in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Portugalete FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Dante Abadia hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Urria in the 59th minute of play forced Portugalete FC's goalkeeper Rubio Abaurre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romeo Urria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubio Abaurre having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Romeo Urria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Efren Abello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Aztore Grandoso made a huge save. In the 76th match minute, Portugalete FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikola Abadia to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Portugalete FC's zone, Romeo Urria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubio Abaurre came out of the goal and Romeo Urria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Arillanga getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Argi Ma hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Arillanga's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Efren Abello fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 89th minute, Dolfo Abastas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bizi Aballe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aztore Grandoso having to interfere. Romeo Urria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Rubio Abaurre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Arillanga supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Portugalete FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Portugalete FC.
