The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Miliano Abello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sagrario Abecia having to make a save. In the 13th minute, Joshua Fountain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Blooming's Sagrario Abecia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miliano Abello in the 15th minute of play. Blooming's Joshua Fountain got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Blooming's zone, Miliano Abello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sagrario Abecia came out of the goal and Miliano Abello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Zarando Aballe fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poderosa's protests and gave Zarando Aballe a yellow card for diving instead. Miliano Abello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sagrario Abecia having to interfere. Joshua Fountain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Joshua Fountain sped through Poderosa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kimetz Abascal. Poderosa's Kimetz Abascal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Fountain in the 43rd minute of play. Kimetz Abascal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joshua Fountain in the 44th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Joshua Fountain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blooming's supporters rose to their feet, but Joshua Fountain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kimetz Abascal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joshua Fountain to strike the kick off in the second half. Sagrario Abecia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Abarca in the 57th minute of play. Blooming's Joshua Fountain got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 68 minutes, Joshua Fountain made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Poderosa's Kimetz Abascal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Xabier Abalos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Poderosa's Kimetz Abascal got control of the ball when Joshua Fountain tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute of the match Firme Abaunza shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sagrario Abecia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sagrario Abecia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miliano Abello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Miliano Abello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
