The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Mariano Alcega made a precise shot to the right of Polo Galindo. Jacabe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Blanco Carbajal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Polo Galindo having to interfere. After 14 minutes, Bernal Leal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jacabe and the Kiriri players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jacabe's Bernal Leal got a free kick in the 14th minute. Arnalt Pamanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Xuoco Pro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frisco Anda in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xuoco Pro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xuoco Pro stood somewhat misplaced when Frisco Anda came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 19 minute. The supporters of Jacabe booed when Kiriri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timeteo Tebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jacabe's Frisco Anda in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kiriri's goalie prevented a goal. Timeteo Tebe hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Kiriri's Xuoco Pro got control of the ball when Nestor Mari tried to sneak it across the goal line. Blanco Carbajal struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Polo Galindo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kiriri. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Blanco Carbajal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kiriri's supporters rose to their feet, but Blanco Carbajal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Polo Galindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blanco Carbajal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor Mari in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xuoco Pro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xuoco Pro came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Jacabe's Frisco Anda. But to his dismay, Frisco Anda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Mariano Alcega's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Polo Galindo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Blanco Carbajal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Polo Galindo having to interfere. Mariano Alcega took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Polo Galindo. Polo Galindo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blanco Carbajal in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Polo Galindo saved Jacabe from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Jacabe's zone, Blanco Carbajal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Polo Galindo came out of the goal and Blanco Carbajal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frisco Anda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes in the game, Blanco Carbajal fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Polo Galindo having to interfere. If Nestor Mari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Kiriri getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Timeteo Tebe hit a great ball. In the 97th minute of the match Federigo Guajardo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xuoco Pro skillfully saved the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
