With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jordi Abecia in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Abello saved Wolverines from getting behind. Alberto Abello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordi Abecia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jordi Abecia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Alberto Abello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Abello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jordi Abecia, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Hernando Aballe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberto Abello having to make a save. Alberto Abello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernando Aballe in the 31st minute of the match. Ixiamas's Jordi Abecia got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute Hernando Aballe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Abello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 41 minutes, Jordi Abecia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ixiamas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jordi Abecia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Wolverines's zone, Jordi Abecia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Abello came out of the goal and Jordi Abecia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jordi Abecia to make the kick off. Urki Abarca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Abaunza having to interfere. Hernando Aballe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Alberto Abello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wolverines's Alberto Abello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jordi Abecia in the 65th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Wolverines's goal looked a bit too open when Jordi Abecia came free, but Alberto Abello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Jordi Abecia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alberto Abello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordi Abecia in the 78th minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Jordi Abecia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ixiamas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jordi Abecia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alberto Abello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hernando Aballe in the 85th minute. In the 94th minute Ariel Abaurre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Abaunza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wolverines were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Ixiamas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sasoin Abascal took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Urki Abarca got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anacleto Abaunza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
