Bihar Abastas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Abaurre in the 3rd minute of the match. Vennancio Abaurre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Abello having to interfere. Vennancio Abaurre scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Abello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wolverines's Urki Abarca got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Wolverines getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Urki Abarca hit a great ball. If Orkatz Abeijon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in UNIVERSITARIO's zone, Ariel Abaurre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bihar Abastas came out of the goal and Ariel Abaurre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto Abello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vennancio Abaurre's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The supporters of Wolverines booed when UNIVERSITARIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Abenda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Wolverines's Aldo Abancens got a free kick in the 25th minute. After having played for 27 minutes, Orkatz Abeijon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UNIVERSITARIO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orkatz Abeijon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wolverines's Alberto Abello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vennancio Abaurre in the 30th minute of play. Orkatz Abeijon came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alberto Abello could save by the left post. Vennancio Abaurre scored 3-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Abello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Alberto Abello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bilintx Abeijon, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 58 minutes into the match, Wolverines's goal looked a bit too open when Jerold Abel came free, but Alberto Abello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Abello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vennancio Abaurre, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Jerold Abel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Alberto Abello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Orkatz Abeijon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Abello. Wolverines's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orkatz Abeijon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Orkatz Abeijon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Abello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vennancio Abaurre went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Wolverines getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Atilano Abendano hit a great ball. Orkatz Abeijon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Orkatz Abeijon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Alberto Abello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orkatz Abeijon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urki Abarca's late challenge caught a UNIVERSITARIO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urki Abarca helped the player get up and apologised. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. UNIVERSITARIO had played much better football throughout.
