Lucado Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elixio Abeitia in the 14th minute of play. When Gaur Abaurre came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Academia Celeste fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaur Abaurre couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, Academia Celeste's goal looked a bit too open when Berbiz Abarca came free, but Lucado Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Academia Celeste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clementi Abalos to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Celeste's zone, Elixio Abeitia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucado Abad came out of the goal and Elixio Abeitia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Berbiz Abarca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucado Abad having to interfere. Elixio Abeitia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Javiar Abadie kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Benjamin Abastass short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Saverio Abajas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elixio Abeitia to strike the kick off in the second half. Jhony FC were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Academia Celeste's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gartzea Abecia took the corner. After taking down the ball on Jhony FC's corner Gartzea Abecia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lucado Abad quite easily take care of the ball. Berbiz Abarca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucado Abad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Gaur Abaurre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saverio Abajas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Garin Aballe charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Garin Aballe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes Academia Celeste got a freekick which was hit by Garin Aballe. Gaur Abaurre scored 2-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saverio Abajas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Etor Aballe hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Academia Celeste's Lucado Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elixio Abeitia in the 90th minute of play. Elixio Abeitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucado Abad having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Celeste's zone, Berbiz Abarca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucado Abad came out of the goal and Berbiz Abarca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jhony FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
