After a defensive mix-up in Flamingo 03's zone, Sayvion Abad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donatello Abeitia came out of the goal and Sayvion Abad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Calcetín con Miel defense, Yiyo Abaunza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dionisio Abajas. The Calcetín con Miel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dionisio Abajas should have stopped the shot. When Sayvion Abad came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Calcetín con Miel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sayvion Abad couldn't finish the play. Donatello Abeitia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prejun Abel in the 19th minute of the match. Sayvion Abad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donatello Abeitia having to make a save. A collision led to Flamingo 03 getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Baladi Abella hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Prejun Abel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calcetín con Miel's supporters rose to their feet, but Prejun Abel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donatello Abeitia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Prejun Abel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Flamingo 03:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Calcetín con Miel:s goal. If Prejun Abel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donatello Abeitia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prejun Abel's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. 46 minutes into the game, Yiyo Abaunza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flamingo 03's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calcetín con Miel the free kick. In the 47th match minute, Flamingo 03 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yiyo Abaunza to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Prejun Abel to strike the kick off in the second half. Donatello Abeitia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sayvion Abad in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prejun Abel in the 58th minute of play forced Flamingo 03's goalkeeper Donatello Abeitia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Prejun Abel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Abarca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donatello Abeitia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Sayvion Abad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donatello Abeitia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calcetín con Miel's Sayvion Abad got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Calcetín con Miel's Fabian Abarca got a free kick in the 79th minute. Donatello Abeitia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sayvion Abad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donatello Abeitia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sayvion Abad in the 86th minute of the match. Donatello Abeitia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prejun Abel's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Donatello Abeitia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prejun Abel, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 90 played minutes Flamingo 03 got a freekick which was hit by Baladi Abella. Prejun Abel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calcetín con Miel were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
