Eustaquio Abad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Mancio Abeitia made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Txerran Abecia managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Yare's Eustaquio Abad fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Eustaquio Abad came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Yare fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustaquio Abad couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Eustaquio Abad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yare's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustaquio Abad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Txerran Abecia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
