Unax Basozabal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliz Carda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Antana FC fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Antana FC's Mikelats Cagigal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sauveur Abecia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eguen Abenda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikelats Cagigal in the 19th minute of play. Esperaza's Cortez Abaurre got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Antana FC's Feliz Carda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eguen Abenda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mikelats Cagigal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eguen Abenda having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, Feliz Carda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antana FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliz Carda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eguen Abenda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliz Carda, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. A collision led to Antana FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Francesco Mendigoitia hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Cortez Abaurre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Unax Basozabal was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Evaristo Elorduy hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The Esperaza players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Antana FC were winning 0-1.

In the 51st minute Cortez Abaurre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Unax Basozabal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cordearo Abad fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esperaza's protests and gave Cordearo Abad a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Mikelats Cagigal took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Eguen Abenda to make any attempt to save it. In the 59thth minute of the game Sauveur Abecia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Antana FC's Unax Basozabal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Francesco Mendigoitia hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Unax Basozabal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cortez Abaurre, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute, Francesco Mendigoitia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cortez Abaurre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sauveur Abecia took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Unax Basozabal. Unax Basozabal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After 91 played minutes Antana FC got a freekick which was hit by Tabb Barbosa. In the 93rd minute Sauveur Abecia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Unax Basozabal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Antana FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
