Toribio Abello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eguen Abenda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rene Abecia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eguen Abenda was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Guter Abajas let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 46th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guter Abajas in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eguen Abenda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guter Abajas struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Eguen Abenda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vaherram AFC. Eguen Abenda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Abecia in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guter Abajas in the 64th minute of play forced Esperaza's goalkeeper Eguen Abenda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guter Abajas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Eguen Abenda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Rene Abecia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eguen Abenda. Esperaza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rene Abecia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. A collision led to Vaherram AFC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Koldobika Abancens hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vaherram AFC fully deserved thier win.
