He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MDteam reached it. Maria Abeitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quinto Motrico having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dante Abadie during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Barrial AFC booed when MDteam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Abadie didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cordero Isurieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes in the game, Zayvius Largacha fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marz Abenda having to interfere. When Artaldo Abeijon fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MDteam's protests and gave Artaldo Abeijon a yellow card for diving instead. Artaldo Abeijon hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Cordero Isurieta could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Marz Abenda however easily saved by the left post. After 23 played minutes MDteam got a freekick which was hit by Maria Abeitia. Salvadore Abaurre struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Quinto Motrico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MDteam. In the 30th minute, Barrial AFC's Zayvius Largacha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marz Abenda. Marz Abenda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Barrial AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! Lluc Abecia placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Zayvius Largacha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Marz Abenda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cordero Isurieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zayvius Largacha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zayvius Largacha in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marz Abenda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute Cordero Isurieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marz Abenda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zayvius Largacha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marz Abenda was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gurutz Bilbao during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Barrial AFC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Gurutz Bilbao hit a great ball. Quinto Motrico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maria Abeitia in the 65th minute of play. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind MDteam's goalkeeper Marz Abenda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cordero Isurieta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to MDteam getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Xinaro Abaurre hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Danel Traspalacios sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and MDteam's Marz Abenda didn't even have to move. Barrial AFC's Zayvius Largacha got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maria Abeitia in the 92nd minute of play forced Barrial AFC's goalkeeper Quinto Motrico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quinto Motrico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maria Abeitia in the 95th minute of play. Barrial AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
