Lupiara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francesco Abello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dolfos Avi was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Cororo booed when Lupiara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mede Abaunza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Francesco Abello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lupiara's supporters rose to their feet, but Francesco Abello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lobo Valbuena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Lupiara's Gumaro Aballe got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dolfos Avi in the 78th minute of play forced Lupiara's goalkeeper Lugo Abecia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosme Gordo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lugo Abecia having to interfere. Cosme Gordo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Lugo Abecia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lupiara's Lugo Abecia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Lupiara from getting a goal against them. Cosme Gordo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Lugo Abecia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Dolfos Avi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cororo's supporters rose to their feet, but Dolfos Avi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lugo Abecia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cosme Gordo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Lugo Abecia made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cororo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
