After 7 played minutes Club Atletico River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Abar. After some careless play in the Club Atletico River Plate defense, Eutropio Abastas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeru Abascal. The Club Atletico River Plate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeru Abascal should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico River Plate's zone, Vachon Abastas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeru Abascal came out of the goal and Vachon Abastas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19thth minute of the game Vachon Abastas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico River Plate's Zeru Abascal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eutropio Abastas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 minutes, Hanni Abalos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico River Plate and the Caquingori players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Club Atletico River Plate getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Hanni Abalos hit a great ball. In the 28th match minute, Club Atletico River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Abadia to maneuver through the defense. Viator Abeitia, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 30th minute, Diegotxe Abello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eutropio Abastas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeru Abascal having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Caquingori's goalkeeper Cosme Abeijon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaspard Abellaneda. Cosme Abeijon was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Godfredo Abar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Godfredo Abar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3.

53 minutes into the game, Viator Abeitia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caquingori's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico River Plate the free kick. Viator Abeitia kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 55 played minutes, Club Atletico River Plate's Gipuzkoa Aballe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cosme Abeijon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Vachon Abastas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caquingori's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vachon Abastas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berenguer Abecia in the 88th minute of play forced Club Atletico River Plate's goalkeeper Zeru Abascal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vachon Abastas in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zeru Abascal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Diegotxe Abello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute Ruperto Abellaneda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Abeijon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caquingori played a much better game than Club Atletico River Plate and deserved their victory. The Club Atletico River Plate players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
