The Umallita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Megia should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Estevon Abancens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Escuadrón Mercenario's supporters rose to their feet, but Estevon Abancens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugenio Megia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Escuadrón Mercenario's Estevon Abancens managed to work through Umallita's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Estevon Abancens dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 28 minutes of play, Escuadrón Mercenario's Zé Pedro Medeiros made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Estevon Abancens in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
