Spectators: 9225 (Terracing: 6920, Seating: 2122, VIP seats: 183) Sporting Cristal's Fernando Abar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vicente Villarroel came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Cristal's Fernando Abar. But to his dismay, Fernando Abar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 5 minutes into the match, Mino Abellaneda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vicente Villarroel, 2-0. 8 minutes into the game, Oskarbi Abancens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vicente Villarroel. Oskarbi Abancens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Vicente Villarroel was a little too slow when Fernando Abar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 4-0. In the 14th minute, Benavidez FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fernando Abar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Honorio Abecia came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Sporting Cristal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorio Abecia couldn't finish the play. Benavidez FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Oskarbi Abancens scored to the left of an out of position Vicente Villarroel, making the score, 5-0. In the 21st minute, Benavidez FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fernando Abar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A hard shot 23 in the game by Fernando Abar from a close distance when the talented Vicente Villarroel managed to make a qualified save. Benavidez FC's players were relieved. Benavidez FC's Vicente Villarroel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Benavidez FC from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute, Sporting Cristal's Sedeni Abellaneda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. Cipriano Abeita hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the game, Fernando Abar lined in a short shot 7-0 behind a frustrated Vicente Villarroel. 34 minutes into the game, Sporting Cristal's Fernando Abar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vicente Villarroel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. After 39 minutes, Fernando Abar made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. Benavidez FC's Vicente Villarroel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fernando Abar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Honorio Abecia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Benavidez FC's Vicente Villarroel got control of the ball when Oskarbi Abancens tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernando Abar struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Vicente Villarroel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Cristal. Af the end of the first half the score was 9-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Birjaio Beysama made a kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Sporting Cristal's Oskarbi Abancens made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente Villarroel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernando Abar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vicente Villarroel having to make a save. Sporting Cristal's Serafo Abadie got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Benavidez FC defense, Cipriano Abeita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Villarroel. The Benavidez FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Villarroel should have stopped the shot. In the 67th minute, Mikeldi Valpuesta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Abar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Benavidez FC's goalkeeper Vicente Villarroel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fernando Abar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Benavidez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Abar came free, but Vicente Villarroel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15-0 became the score in the 86th minute when Oskarbi Abancens elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oskarbi Abancens in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Villarroel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fernando Abar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Abar struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Vicente Villarroel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Cristal. If Cipriano Abeita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee ended the match the Sporting Cristal players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
