Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) Manchester City's Txindoki Abeijon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norino Jorge in the 4th minute of play forced Manchester City's goalkeeper Gaur Abastas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norino Jorge in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaur Abastas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th minute, Claude Abenda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salvino Pereira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Aznar Ribacoba hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Claude Abenda might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Salvino Pereira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claude Abenda ran back to his position shaking his head. After 17th play minutes Txindoki Abeijon shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Salvino Pereira and just under the crossbar into goal. Iruinea Abechuco charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iruinea Abechuco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Manchester City! Gaur Abastas went to the wrong direction when Xalbador Portero was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. A collision led to Callestia FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Aznar Ribacoba hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the game, Manchester City's Claude Abenda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Salvino Pereira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Txindoki Abeijon in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salvino Pereira saved Callestia FC from getting behind. Salvino Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Txindoki Abeijon in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Claude Abenda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvino Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salvino Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Txindoki Abeijon, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Callestia FC's zone, Fidel Abar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvino Pereira came out of the goal and Fidel Abar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 39 minutes, Aznar Ribacoba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Callestia FC and the Manchester City players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Manchester City booed when Callestia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aznar Ribacoba didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute Claude Abenda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvino Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 minutes of play, Manchester City's Txindoki Abeijon made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Salvino Pereira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Norino Jorge stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Callestia FC's Salvino Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Txindoki Abeijon in the 55th minute of play. Rogelio Abadie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvino Pereira having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Txindoki Abeijon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salvino Pereira was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Txindoki Abeijon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fidel Abar struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Salvino Pereira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester City. Txindoki Abeijon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Salvino Pereira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. When Manchester City's Txindoki Abeijon in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Callestia FC's goalie prevented a goal. Opilano Abeijon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvino Pereira having to interfere. Salvino Pereira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Txindoki Abeijon's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Manchester City's Gaur Abastas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norino Jorge in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Callestia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Txindoki Abeijon came free, but Salvino Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fidel Abar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Salvino Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Txindoki Abeijon was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. Manchester City's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 82nd minute, Rogelio Abadie made a precise shot to the right of Salvino Pereira. Callestia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 86thth minute of the game Txindoki Abeijon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Callestia FC's Salvino Pereira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Callestia FC's goalkeeper Salvino Pereira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Manchester City's Txindoki Abeijon in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Salvino Pereira came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Manchester City's Fidel Abar. But to his dismay, Fidel Abar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Manchester City played a much better game than Callestia FC and deserved their victory. The Callestia FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
