Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Etcheverry Fans defense, Sam Van Heerle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herauso Abello. The Etcheverry Fans fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herauso Abello should have stopped the shot. 47 minutes into the match, Montrell Abadie notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Etcheverry Fans's Herauso Abello. Herauso Abello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Bolton Wanderers were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sam Van Heerle was the one to do the kick off. Ugutz Abella kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. The supporters of Etcheverry Fans booed when Bolton Wanderers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ted Abello didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Montrell Abadie reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Herauso Abello. The goal made the score 0-5. After 77 played minutes Etcheverry Fans got a freekick which was hit by Calvet Abeijon. Sam Van Heerle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Klaus Dieter Kubel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bolton Wanderers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
