Herauso Abello was a little too slow when Criston Rocandio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. Herauso Abello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Hernainz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ugutz Abella hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Xulian Parga's late challenge caught a Etcheverry Fans's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xulian Parga helped the player get up and apologised. Xulian Parga kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Sauveur Lomeli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inge Abalos, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Inge Abalos scored 1-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sauveur Lomeli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sauveur Lomeli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inge Abalos in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calvet Abeijon in the 31st minute of play forced Laquiputo AFC's goalkeeper Sauveur Lomeli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herauso Abello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Macias Hoyon in the 33rd minute of the match. Sauveur Lomeli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calvet Abeijon in the 37th minute of play. Criston Rocandio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inge Abalos took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sauveur Lomeli. Sauveur Lomeli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Inge Abalos to strike the kick off in the second half. Egoi Chumacero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Inge Abalos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Macias Hoyon came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Laquiputo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Macias Hoyon couldn't finish the play. In the 66th match minute, Etcheverry Fans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisc Bărbânță to maneuver through the defense. Inge Abalos struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Sauveur Lomeli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Etcheverry Fans. The crowd rose to their feet as Etcheverry Fans's Inge Abalos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sauveur Lomeli. That made the score 1-3 after 73 minutes of play. Calvet Abeijon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sauveur Lomeli having to interfere. Inge Abalos might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sauveur Lomeli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inge Abalos ran back to his position shaking his head. Inge Abalos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Sauveur Lomeli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Criston Rocandio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Laquiputo AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Etcheverry Fans were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
