After a defensive mix-up in Bolton Wanderers's zone, Zsolt Molnár stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 麦磊桑 came out of the goal and Zsolt Molnár tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Algimantas Tarasevičius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 麦磊桑 having to interfere. The Bolton Wanderers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lamento Boliviano were winning 0-1.

Lamento Boliviano made a substitution. Uxio Abello replaced Manu Abajas. 麦磊桑 made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Christovao Abastas sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bolton Wanderers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ingvar Vollander was slow to take the kick. During this time Lamento Boliviano's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Lamento Boliviano's Algimantas Tarasevičius to fire away a dangerous shot which 麦磊桑 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Lamento Boliviano's goal looked a bit too open when Zavier Abadie came free, but Augusto Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 68 minutes, Algimantas Tarasevičius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lamento Boliviano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Algimantas Tarasevičius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lamento Boliviano's Pierres Abadie was substituted for Adrio Abeijon. Christovao Abastas let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 77th minute shot 0-2 at rihgt post. Jos Musseeuw struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. 麦磊桑 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lamento Boliviano. Christovao Abastas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 麦磊桑 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Algimantas Tarasevičius in the 85th minute of play. In the 89th minute of the match, Jos Musseeuw tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 麦磊桑 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd rose to their feet as Lamento Boliviano's Algimantas Tarasevičius slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 麦磊桑. That made the score 0-3 after 92 minutes of play. A collision led to Lamento Boliviano getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Remigio Batista hit a great ball.
