After 10 played minutes Internacional got a freekick which was hit by Rocendo Abar. The supporters of Pepsi Fuchibol Clu booed when Internacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuelo Abarca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feyyaz Erol struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Vincente Abella didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pepsi Fuchibol Clu. 24 minutes into the match, Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's goal looked a bit too open when Quilo Abalos came free, but Stéphane Brault reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feyyaz Erol in the 26th minute of play forced Internacional's goalkeeper Vincente Abella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 played minutes, Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's Domingo Abadie shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vincente Abella came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pepsi Fuchibol Clu reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quilo Abalos in the 32nd minute of play forced Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's goalkeeper Stéphane Brault to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's Feyyaz Erol in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Internacional's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Feyyaz Erol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's Firmo Abella quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Feyyaz Erol made a kick off. Vincente Abella came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's Feyyaz Erol. But to his dismay, Feyyaz Erol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's Feyyaz Erol got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Internacional's goal looked a bit too open when Feyyaz Erol came free, but Vincente Abella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58 minutes, Quilo Abalos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Internacional and the Pepsi Fuchibol Clu players grew even worse after the yellow card. 62 minutes into the match, Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's goal looked a bit too open when Rocendo Abar came free, but Stéphane Brault reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Feyyaz Erol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincente Abella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feyyaz Erol might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vincente Abella. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Feyyaz Erol ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feyyaz Erol in the 67th minute of play forced Internacional's goalkeeper Vincente Abella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Feyyaz Erol came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Pepsi Fuchibol Clu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feyyaz Erol couldn't finish the play. Feyyaz Erol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Vincente Abella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vincente Abella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feyyaz Erol, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feyyaz Erol in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vincente Abella prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vincente Abella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feyyaz Erol in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Pepsi Fuchibol Clu were the better team. Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
