Lon Abechuco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Endura Abechuco in the 6th minute of play. Juan Funes took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lon Abechuco. Lon Abechuco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ezequiel Palacios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Marcelo Barovero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When River CBBA's Juan Funes in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Potosí's goalie prevented a goal. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neron Abastas in the 16th minute of play. Real Potosí's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Duarte Abarca in the 17th minute. Gustavo Zapata made a great header on Real Potosí's corner, it was just that River CBBA's Marcelo Barovero managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 19th minute of the match Real Potosí got a corner. River CBBA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Duarte Abarca ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Ezequiel Palacios almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but River CBBA's Marcelo Barovero did a great save. After 27 minutes, Juan Funes made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Real Potosí's Lon Abechuco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcelo Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bela Abeitia in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Potosí's goalkeeper Lon Abechuco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arano Abendano struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Lon Abechuco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River CBBA. A collision led to Real Potosí getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Bela Abeitia hit a great ball. Arano Abendano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Funes to strike the kick off in the second half. Real Potosí's Lon Abechuco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Funes in the 55th minute of play. Lon Abechuco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Endura Abechuco in the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to Real Potosí getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Duarte Abarca hit a great ball. After 65 minutes, Gustavo Zapata mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Potosí and the River CBBA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Real Potosí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Zapata to maneuver through the defense. River CBBA made a substitution. Cipriano Abechuco replaced Varis Birgelis. River CBBA's Guerau Abeitia was substituted for Hector Enrique. A collision led to Real Potosí getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Gustavo Zapata hit a great ball. In the 70thth minute of the game Ponciano Abarca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Potosí's Lon Abechuco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Real Potosí's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ponciano Abarca 71 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Real Potosí made a substitution. Savion Abellaneda replaced Gustavo Quinteros. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Ponciano Abarca sped through Real Potosí's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lon Abechuco. Lon Abechuco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ponciano Abarca, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Potosí's goalkeeper Lon Abechuco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ponciano Abarca succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 84th playminute. 88 minutes into the match, River CBBA's goal looked a bit too open when Bela Abeitia came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, River CBBA's Ponciano Abarca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lon Abechuco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Real Potosí's goalkeeper Lon Abechuco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ponciano Abarca. Ponciano Abarca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lon Abechuco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. If Endura Abechuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The River CBBA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing River CBBA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
