Lluques Aya's late challenge caught a Raigon AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lluques Aya helped the player get up and apologised. 17 minutes into the match, Young's goalkeeper Francis Holgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Llorian Noguer. Blanco Palou took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hilario Autran. Raigon AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Young's Rufo Valdeliso suffered a concussion in the 24th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 24 minutes into the game, Orlin Berrez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Raigon AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Young the free kick. The supporters of Young booed when Raigon AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlin Berrez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hilario Autran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rameriz Castorena in the 26th minute of play. Tomi Arambarri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Young's goalkeeper Francis Holgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Betadur Oria kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Young's Rameriz Castorena got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santxol Mesia to strike the kick off in the second half. Raigon AFC's Hilario Autran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Raigon AFC from getting a goal against them.
