Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dynamo Ordeig's Eugenio Sevane started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Geronimo Puntones didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jose-Antonio Godines went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jose-Antonio Godines struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Geronimo Puntones didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nacional. The audience was convinced that Pelagius Viñambre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geronimo Puntones was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Iparragirre Yerro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogerio Sufiria in the 21st minute. After 22 minutes, Jordi Zahonero mouthed his way into the referee's book. Geronimo Puntones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fe Antoñana in the 31st minute of play. In the 38th minute, Todor Arrateguibel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nacional fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Geronimo Puntones came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Nacional's Xesus Murcia. But to his dismay, Xesus Murcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. When Nacional's Pelagius Viñambre in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dynamo Ordeig's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The wind increased when Pelagius Viñambre made the kick off in the second half. If Pelagius Viñambre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pelagius Viñambre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Puntones having to interfere. Eugenio Sevane hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Geronimo Puntones came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Nacional's Jose-Antonio Godines. But to his dismay, Jose-Antonio Godines quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. In the 72nd match minute, Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose-Antonio Godines to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogerio Sufiria in the 74th minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Iparragirre Yerro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Pelagius Viñambre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Geronimo Puntones was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pelagius Viñambre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geronimo Puntones read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Jose-Antonio Godines blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geronimo Puntones having to make a save. Chepe Bravain took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Geronimo Puntones. Dynamo Ordeig's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pelagius Viñambre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chepe Bravain took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Geronimo Puntones. Dynamo Ordeig's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luis-Antonio Castrillo hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Marin Encica's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geronimo Puntones was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
