In the 27th minute, Neto Jerez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cerrillada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 31 minutes into the match, Chilcas AFC's Rumaldo Galarreta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Furman Terminel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sabino Narez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mendiko Adrian having to make a save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cerrillada fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Neto Jerez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 60 minutes, Neto Jerez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerrillada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neto Jerez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Raulo Islañana put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mendiko Adrian. Lorien Batalle kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Chilcas AFC's Mendiko Adrian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raulo Islañana in the 88th minute of play. Mendiko Adrian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raulo Islañana in the 89th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
