Jose Piquero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ximeno Moscoso went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Angelino Romillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Casupa AFC booed when Maldonado AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cresitobalo Ontova didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Casupa AFC's Eleder Reboredo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Maldonado AFC's Enekoitz Guanes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 39 played minutes Casupa AFC got a freekick which was hit by Solustiano Pavieta. Jose Piquero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Romillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Pabla Guismonde kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelino Romillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Ximeno Moscoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the game, Cresitobalo Ontova was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maldonado AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Casupa AFC the free kick. In the 61st minute, Cresitobalo Ontova hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute Evangelista Blanch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iaki Burset saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute Angelino Romillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Piquero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Alfonso Soler made a precise shot to the right of Iaki Burset. Maldonado AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 74 minutes in the game, Ximeno Moscoso fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jose Piquero having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorien Seca in the 79th minute of play forced Maldonado AFC's goalkeeper Iaki Burset to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lorien Oñatibia during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Maldonado AFC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Lorien Oñatibia hit a great ball. Lorien Seca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lorien Seca struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Iaki Burset didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casupa AFC. In the 94th match minute, Maldonado AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cresitobalo Ontova to maneuver through the defense. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
