Gau Vizcarra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Berasko Avecia made a huge save. If Rocendo Pidrola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Txomin Valenciano came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Diaz FC's Anibal Vango. But to his dismay, Anibal Vango quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Diaz FC's Salbatore Ruelas got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Salbatore Ruelas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Lavalleja AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ranolfo Valdenebro hit a great ball. Salbatore Ruelas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lavalleja AFC's Gau Vizcarra got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Txomin Valenciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salbatore Ruelas, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Salbatore Ruelas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Gabon Ochandio kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Salbatore Ruelas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Txomin Valenciano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Salbatore Ruelas came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Txomin Valenciano could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Lavalleja AFC's Zacarias Zamarro got a free kick in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lavalleja AFC's zone, Salbatore Ruelas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Txomin Valenciano came out of the goal and Salbatore Ruelas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Anibal Vango had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Txomin Valenciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Vango in the 83rd minute of play. When Bilintx Baldonado fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diaz FC's protests and gave Bilintx Baldonado a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lavalleja AFC booed when Diaz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bilintx Baldonado didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Diaz FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
