In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aguirre's goalkeeper Justo Lape, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Cordeara Belorado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cordeara Belorado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Rodolfo Urtueta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justo Lape was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Estebe Gualda might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Justo Lape. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. RedBull's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aguirre the free kick. Simon Gox hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Estebe Gualda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Horado Palomeque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Estebe Gualda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the game, Estebe Gualda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Justo Lape was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When Estebe Gualda in the 54th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Justo Lape kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Urtueta got free with Justo Lape in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xever Lizundia's late challenge caught a RedBull's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xever Lizundia helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Aguirre got a freekick which was hit by Xever Lizundia. 78 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Urtueta notched a goal, 2-6, to the right of Aguirre's Justo Lape. Justo Lape was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the RedBull defense, Rosario Palenzuela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lapurdi Villodas. The RedBull fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lapurdi Villodas should have stopped the shot. The supporters of RedBull booed when Aguirre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xever Lizundia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90thth minute of the game Estebe Gualda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aguirre's Justo Lape was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aguirre's Justo Lape proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Aguirre from getting a goal against them. If Estebe Gualda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Rosario Palenzuela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lapurdi Villodas was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. RedBull's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
