Spectators: 6687 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1687, VIP seats: 0) Alonso Masseda started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mingo Oliveros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Zarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute Diego Zarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mingo Oliveros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sotil Voces got free with Sergi Arneu in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute Alonso Masseda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mingo Oliveros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Cordon's Sergi Arneu got control of the ball when Sotil Voces tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Varese's Illan Cines got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 29th match minute, Cordon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caton Corisco to maneuver through the defense. Sergi Arneu made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Sotil Voces sent off a good shot on target. Alonso Masseda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mingo Oliveros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. When Diego Zarra came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Cordon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Zarra couldn't finish the play. Cordon's Alonso Masseda got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beltza Alcazar kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If Alonso Masseda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Diego Zarra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diego Zarra kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Sotil Voces received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Sergi Arneu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sotil Voces in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergi Arneu saved Cordon from getting behind. If Alonso Masseda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Evis Sojo fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cordon's protests and gave Evis Sojo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute, Evis Sojo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Muno Forteza took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergi Arneu. Sergi Arneu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Muno Forteza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 76 minutes into the game, Muno Forteza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Sergi Arneu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 80th minute, Clodio Vall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Sotil Voces got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sotil Voces in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergi Arneu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cordon players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Varese.
