If Cordeara Belorado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosario Palenzuela in the 5th minute of play forced Varese's goalkeeper Mingo Oliveros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muno Forteza in the 8th minute of play forced Aguirre's goalkeeper Justo Lape to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Aguirre's Mingo Oliveros threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rosario Palenzuela, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 14 minutes into the game, Balesio Verda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aguirre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Varese the free kick. The supporters of Varese booed when Aguirre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balesio Verda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cordeara Belorado was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. Aguirre's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Aguirre's Rosario Palenzuela slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mingo Oliveros. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Cordeara Belorado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aguirre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cordeara Belorado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Balesio Verda got his second yellow card in the match during the 28th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Aguirre getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Balesio Verda hit a great ball. In the 42ndth minute of the game Muno Forteza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aguirre's Justo Lape was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Muno Forteza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Muno Forteza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Aguirre's Rosario Palenzuela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mingo Oliveros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Cordeara Belorado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Muno Forteza came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Varese fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Muno Forteza couldn't finish the play. Sotil Voces took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Justo Lape. Justo Lape dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 79th minute, Muno Forteza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Muno Forteza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cordeara Belorado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Mingo Oliveros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aguirre's Cordeara Belorado got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aguirre were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Varese for a fine match.
