Cordon's Sergi Arneu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ieltxu Bon in the 24th minute of play. Montrell Guiral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonso Masseda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oriol Penas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergi Arneu having to interfere. Sergi Arneu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ieltxu Bon in the 44th minute of the match. When Alonso Masseda came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Cordon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alonso Masseda couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Ieltxu Bon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Sergi Arneu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd minute Ieltxu Bon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergi Arneu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Montrell Guiral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Zarra's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. With an all-out effort, Union's Sergi Arneu threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ieltxu Bon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 73rdth minute of the game Ieltxu Bon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cordon's Sergi Arneu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Cordon getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Modesto Verde hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Oriol Penas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 84th minute Ieltxu Bon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergi Arneu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
