The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, C.A Carbonero's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Andibidria came free, but Zarando Villaba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedicto Andibidria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Abel Gobantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Benedicto Andibidria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cardoso AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Andibidria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zarando Villaba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the match, C.A Carbonero's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Andibidria came free, but Zarando Villaba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rainerio Gavilan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedicto Andibidria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Zarando Villaba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, C.A Carbonero's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Andibidria came free, but Zarando Villaba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santana Balbin kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Anaya Ochari sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and C.A Carbonero's Zarando Villaba didn't even have to move. In the 32nd minute Benedicto Andibidria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zarando Villaba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A Carbonero's Zarando Villaba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Andibidria in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cardoso AFC's zone, Rainerio Gavilan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jurdan Puertas came out of the goal and Rainerio Gavilan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eufrasio Boñar hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Urbasa Martino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Santana Balbin kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After having played for 55 minutes, Abel Gobantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cardoso AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Gobantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zarando Villaba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Andibidria in the 57th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rainerio Gavilan in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jurdan Puertas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute Benedicto Andibidria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zarando Villaba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedicto Andibidria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abel Gobantes struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Zarando Villaba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cardoso AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rainerio Gavilan in the 80th minute of play forced Cardoso AFC's goalkeeper Jurdan Puertas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Gobantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Zarando Villaba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Rainerio Gavilan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cardoso AFC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because C.A Carbonero had won, even though Cardoso AFC had held more of the ball.
