Centurion's supporters rose to their feet, but Clodoveo Aldama was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kimetz Arena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eusko Mazas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Ignacio Campano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gentza Laine kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Ignacio Campano was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Javier Oruña. Clodoveo Aldama sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Ignacio Campano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusko Mazas in the 33rd minute of play. When Eusko Mazas came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Lunarejo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusko Mazas couldn't finish the play. Galo Igay hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute of the game, Romelio Arcaya landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pepito Oro during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Centurion booed when Lunarejo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pepito Oro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lunarejo's goalkeeper Kimetz Arena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clodoveo Aldama was the one to do the kick off. Centurion's Clodoveo Aldama got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Lunarejo getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Oto Iruegas hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lunarejo's zone, Eguzki Urruela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kimetz Arena came out of the goal and Eguzki Urruela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Clodoveo Aldama managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Centurion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clodoveo Aldama was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute, Eusko Mazas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lunarejo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricart Baamonde during the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, Centurion's Eguzki Urruela got a free kick in the 95th minute. Javier Oruña took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ignacio Campano. Centurion's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Eusko Mazas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lunarejo had won after a very even match.
