Mundo Eguiluz struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Iago Cardoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gonzalez. Ihintza Madrigal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Kiyu's Xosepin Nuño got a free kick in the 14th minute. Baldovino Portero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iago Cardoso. Kiyu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Iago Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xamo Zalaeta in the 24th minute of the match. Ramiro Herruz kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, one of Kiyu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kiyu. Iago Cardoso had in the 29thth minute some difficulties stopping Baldovino Portero's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Xosepin Nuño managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kiyu's supporters rose to their feet, but Xosepin Nuño was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sendoa Alamon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xamo Zalaeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iago Cardoso having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mundo Eguiluz in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iago Cardoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Gonzalez's zone, Mino Pan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sendoa Alamon came out of the goal and Mino Pan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Baldomero Tijerina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xosepin Nuño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sendoa Alamon having to interfere. In the 46thth minute of the game Ihintza Madrigal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gonzalez's Sendoa Alamon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ihintza Madrigal to strike the kick off in the second half. If Mundo Eguiluz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xamo Zalaeta got free with Iago Cardoso in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Kiyu's zone, Mundo Eguiluz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iago Cardoso came out of the goal and Mundo Eguiluz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Gonzalez's Mundo Eguiluz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iago Cardoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iago Cardoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mundo Eguiluz's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Xosepin Nuño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the game, Xamo Zalaeta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Iago Cardoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st minute, Xamo Zalaeta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iago Cardoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mundo Eguiluz in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iago Cardoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mundo Eguiluz in the 78th minute of play forced Kiyu's goalkeeper Iago Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzalez's Xamo Zalaeta got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gonzalez's Mundo Eguiluz got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gonzalez eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
