Gotzon Susvilla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Melchazadec Horreo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Mosquitos's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Espina came free, but Gotzon Susvilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Candelaria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Soter Servicial fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bigote FC's protests and gave Soter Servicial a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Soter Servicial hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aznaro Valdueza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Candelaria in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Soter Servicial in the 16th minute of play forced Mosquitos's goalkeeper Gotzon Susvilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 19 minutes on the clock, Goito Nurueña commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Mosquitos booed when Bigote FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Goito Nurueña didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tibalt Quincoces missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 21 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Aznaro Valdueza right hand side. A collision led to Bigote FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Soter Servicial hit a great ball. If Narciso Candelaria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melchazadec Horreo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Gotzon Susvilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gotzon Susvilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melchazadec Horreo in the 37th minute. Romelio Eguilaz's late challenge caught a Bigote FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romelio Eguilaz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mosquitos getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Romelio Eguilaz hit a great ball. Melchazadec Horreo struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Gotzon Susvilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bigote FC. When Narciso Candelaria came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Mosquitos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Candelaria couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Goi Inguanzo made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Manni Torrez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aznaro Valdueza. That made the score 1-2 in the 52 minute of play. Manni Torrez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Narciso Candelaria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Melchazadec Horreo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bigote FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Soter Servicial fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gotzon Susvilla having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Videl Munne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Goi Inguanzo scored 2-3 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aznaro Valdueza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Narciso Candelaria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bigote FC's Aznaro Valdueza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Bigote FC from getting a goal against them. If Manni Torrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Bigote FC's goalkeeper Aznaro Valdueza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narciso Candelaria. Aznaro Valdueza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Goi Inguanzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narciso Candelaria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes in the game, Narciso Candelaria fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Aznaro Valdueza having to interfere. The Mosquitos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mosquitos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
