A collision led to Mosquitos getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Goi Inguanzo hit a great ball. Johans Guarnizo took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gotzon Susvilla. Gotzon Susvilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 23 minutes into the game, Telesforo Errasti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mosquitos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kiyu the free kick. Telesforo Errasti kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Tibalt Quincoces hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mosquitos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristo Butron was slow to take the kick. During this time Kiyu's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Mosquitos's Tibalt Quincoces got a free kick in the 34th minute. Iago Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Videl Munne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Goi Inguanzo in the 42nd minute of play forced Kiyu's goalkeeper Iago Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Kiyu's Ramiro Herruz got a free kick in the 45th minute. If Narciso Candelaria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Goi Inguanzo was the one to do the kick off. Narciso Candelaria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Iago Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 56 minutes, Narciso Candelaria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mosquitos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Candelaria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mosquitos were furious when Tibalt Quincoces was red carded, 62 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Gotzon Susvilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mino Pan in the 67th minute of play. Iago Cardoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narciso Candelaria in the 68th minute. After a rather tough play, Kiyu's Mino Pan got a free kick in the 70th minute. Gotzon Susvilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ihintza Madrigal in the 77th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Goi Inguanzo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iago Cardoso was relentless in the 78th minute of the game.
