Spectators: 7330 (Terracing: 5499, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 145) Latorre's Isidro Cobredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beremundo Morelle in the 4th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orain Gobantes in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lain Ocio saved Racing from getting behind. Latorre's Edilberto Doria got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Edilberto Doria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Locaio Freigido got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-0 in the right cross in the 16th match minute before Isidro Cobredo had time to react. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orain Gobantes in the 19th minute of play forced Racing's goalkeeper Lain Ocio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lain Ocio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orain Gobantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. A collision led to Racing getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Paskal Sesse hit a great ball. After 26 played minutes Latorre got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Marti. Jax Ameda, 27 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some careless play in the Racing defense, Orain Gobantes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lain Ocio. The Racing fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lain Ocio should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Isidro Cobredo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Isidro Cobredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beremundo Morelle in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Locaio Freigido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 47 minutes of play, Latorre's Edilberto Doria made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lain Ocio was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orain Gobantes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Orain Gobantes fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Latorre's protests and gave Orain Gobantes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Latorre's goalkeeper Isidro Cobredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lain Ocio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orain Gobantes in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Hunfredo Padriña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Racing's Jax Ameda couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Latorre. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Locaio Freigido sped through Latorre's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Isidro Cobredo. Edilberto Doria's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Lain Ocio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelino Serrato during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Racing getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Angelino Serrato hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of Racing:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Latorre:s goal. In the 86th minute there was a penalty for Latorre. Mel Armendariz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lain Ocio. 2-3. Orain Gobantes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94thth minute of the game Orain Gobantes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing's Lain Ocio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Latorre's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
