After a defensive mix-up in Colonia's zone, Belasko Remon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jayvier Velasco came out of the goal and Belasko Remon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th match minute, Colonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belo Ogero to maneuver through the defense. In the 39thth minute of the game Bahiano Laviada who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colonia's Jayvier Velasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Astor Casanova during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Raymon Aguilar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Todor Olivera made a huge save. After 81 minutes of play, Colonia's Raymon Aguilar made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Todor Olivera was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Jorge Batalle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colonia's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Batalle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Todor Olivera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Batalle in the 89th minute of play forced Lavalleja AFC's goalkeeper Todor Olivera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Batalle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jayvier Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bahiano Laviada in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Martino Murias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colonia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lavalleja AFC the free kick. After 94 played minutes Colonia got a freekick which was hit by Martino Murias. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Batalle in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Todor Olivera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
