A collision led to Palmitas FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Segundo Soler hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Fernan Fortea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benjamin Ormaechea struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Anaya Provencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cunapiru. Xaver Rivera's late challenge caught a Palmitas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xaver Rivera helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cunapiru getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Xaver Rivera hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Palmitas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Iturbe came free, but Anaya Provencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rosendo Riguez made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Fernan Carda sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Fortea in the 23rd minute of play forced Palmitas FC's goalkeeper Anaya Provencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Andres Galisteo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Palmitas FC's zone, Fernan Fortea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anaya Provencio came out of the goal and Fernan Fortea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernan Fortea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Anaya Provencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Aquiles Tudela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anaya Provencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Fortea in the 29th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Palmitas FC's zone, Teodoro Iturbe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anaya Provencio came out of the goal and Teodoro Iturbe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Cunapiru's Fernan Fortea in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palmitas FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 43rd minute, Palmitas FC's Zunbeltz Mezcano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rosendo Riguez. Rosendo Riguez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Anaya Provencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Fortea in the 47th minute of play.

Palmitas FC's Zunbeltz Mezcano got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rosendo Riguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zunbeltz Mezcano in the 55th minute of the match. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palmitas FC's goalkeeper Anaya Provencio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fernan Fortea was extremely unlucky when he, in the 67th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Cunapiru's Xaver Rivera got a free kick in the 69th minute. Anaya Provencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernan Fortea, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 81st minute, Fernan Carda made a precise shot to the right of Rosendo Riguez. Cunapiru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Palmitas FC had won after a very even match.
