One of Cunapiru:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Saucedo:s goal. In the 21st minute there was a penalty for Saucedo. Oliverio Zubieta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rosendo Riguez. 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Fernan Fortea kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Beturian Urrejola. That made the score 2-1 in the 25 minute of play. Cedro Cabero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rosendo Riguez having to make a save. 33 minutes into the match, Saucedo's goal looked a bit too open when Xaver Rivera came free, but Beturian Urrejola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cunapiru's Rosendo Riguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eidvilas Nikontas in the 35th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Fernan Fortea notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Saucedo's Beturian Urrejola. Beturian Urrejola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cedro Cabero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Riguez having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Cunapiru's goal looked a bit too open when Cedro Cabero came free, but Rosendo Riguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fernan Fortea made the kick off in the second half. Xicu Delgado hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 57thth minute of the game Cedro Cabero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cunapiru's Rosendo Riguez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Cunapiru's Fernan Fortea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beturian Urrejola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 63rd minute, Benjamin Ormaechea made a precise shot to the right of Beturian Urrejola. Saucedo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Cedro Cabero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saucedo's supporters rose to their feet, but Cedro Cabero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosendo Riguez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Cunapiru's Rosendo Riguez got control of the ball when Caracakingo Iruegas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th minute, Cedro Cabero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Rosendo Riguez managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Saucedo's Cedro Cabero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 95 played minutes Cunapiru got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Iturbe. After having played for 96 minutes, Cedro Cabero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saucedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cedro Cabero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Many of Saucedo's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Saucedo may have spent more time on the ball, but Cunapiru were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
