The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zunbeltz Mezcano was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Argi Rascuro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anaya Provencio was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Fernan Carda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Firman Azua made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Argi Rascuro in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anaya Provencio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the match, Riffo's goalkeeper Firman Azua had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernan Carda. Anaya Provencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andres Galisteo during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 99 played minutes Palmitas FC got a freekick which was hit by Andres Galisteo. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Riffo fully deserved thier win.
