Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mauro Futbol Club's Morgan Ekenberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Salto AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rios Suso came free, but Millrick Mones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Salto AFC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Caio Olmos hit a great ball. After 8 minutes of play, Mauro Futbol Club's Morgan Ekenberg made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Millrick Mones was left in no man's land by his defense there! 11 minutes into the game, Rios Suso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Millrick Mones was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bernardo Zarandona's late challenge caught a Mauro Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardo Zarandona helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Salto AFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Bernardo Zarandona hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Morgan Ekenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Millrick Mones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atanas Yotov took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Millrick Mones. Millrick Mones dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Salto AFC's zone, Morgan Ekenberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Millrick Mones came out of the goal and Morgan Ekenberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Salto AFC's Millrick Mones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Txaran Cambero in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Morgan Ekenberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mauro Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morgan Ekenberg in the 40th minute of play forced Salto AFC's goalkeeper Millrick Mones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Millrick Mones didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Txaran Cambero went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. In the 47th minute, Frascuelo Brion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Morgan Ekenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mauro Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Morgan Ekenberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Millrick Mones breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Piarres Dragana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Mauro Futbol Club's Atanas Yotov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. A collision led to Salto AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Frascuelo Brion hit a great ball. When Morgan Ekenberg came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Mauro Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Morgan Ekenberg couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Rios Suso could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Millrick Mones however easily saved by the left post. Millrick Mones was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Atanas Yotov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Atanas Yotov really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. The supporters of Mauro Futbol Club booed when Salto AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venceslao Castorena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venceslao Castorena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Firmin Alday having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Piarres Dragana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Firmin Alday was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-9. In the 81st minute Txaran Cambero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Millrick Mones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Atanas Yotov took a quick shot and it went in 1-10 without a chance for Millrick Mones to make any attempt to save it. Morgan Ekenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Venceslao Castorena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Piarres Dragana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
