Caradaro Bernedo charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caradaro Bernedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xzavion Gamiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sadurni Volante's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After 6 minutes of play Potencia FC's Caradaro Bernedo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Potencia FC's Caradaro Bernedo got a free kick in the 6th minute. Xzavion Gamiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sadurni Volante in the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sadurni Volante in the 9th minute of play forced Potencia FC's goalkeeper Xzavion Gamiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Pocitos's Sayvion Raña to fire away a dangerous shot which Xzavion Gamiz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Potencia FC's Xzavion Gamiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santxo Erce in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match Sayvion Raña shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xzavion Gamiz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Xzavion Gamiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sadurni Volante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Pocitos's Sadurni Volante got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 28th minute Xuban Clavell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egun Teijelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xuban Clavell got free with Egun Teijelo in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xzavion Gamiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sadurni Volante, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Sadurni Volante had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xzavion Gamiz. Potencia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sadurni Volante was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Xuban Clavell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvaro Cervera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egun Teijelo having to interfere. Potencia FC's Xuban Clavell got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xuban Clavell was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Pocitos's zone, Xuban Clavell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egun Teijelo came out of the goal and Xuban Clavell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Potencia FC booed when Pocitos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xuban Clavell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Egun Teijelo having to make a save. Xuban Clavell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Egun Teijelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Pocitos's goal looked a bit too open when Orzaize Sesma came free, but Egun Teijelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xuban Clavell in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egun Teijelo saved Pocitos from getting behind. When Alvaro Cervera came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Potencia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Cervera couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvaro Cervera in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egun Teijelo saved Pocitos from getting behind. Egun Teijelo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tibalt Ganchegui went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute Santxo Erce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xzavion Gamiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Potencia FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
