Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xuban Clavell started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xuban Clavell in the 5th minute of play forced Salto AFC's goalkeeper Millrick Mones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Xuban Clavell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Millrick Mones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piarres Dragana hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. A collision led to Potencia FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Orzaize Sesma hit a great ball. When Alvaro Cervera fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Potencia FC's protests and gave Alvaro Cervera a yellow card for diving instead. Alvaro Cervera kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Millrick Mones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xuban Clavell, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Millrick Mones came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Potencia FC's Xuban Clavell. But to his dismay, Xuban Clavell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Potencia FC booed when Salto AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milian Caraduje didn't get a good kick on the ball. Piarres Dragana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Millrick Mones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xuban Clavell, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Salto AFC's Millrick Mones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xuban Clavell in the 40th minute of play. Millrick Mones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xuban Clavell in the 42nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Xuban Clavell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Millrick Mones was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Piarres Dragana made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Potencia FC's Cristo Soberon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Millrick Mones. Millrick Mones yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. If Xuban Clavell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orzaize Sesma charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orzaize Sesma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Orzaize Sesma kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Potencia FC's Cristo Soberon got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 69 minutes, Xuban Clavell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potencia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xuban Clavell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venceslao Castorena's late challenge caught a Potencia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Venceslao Castorena helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Salto AFC's Venceslao Castorena got a free kick in the 77th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xuban Clavell in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Millrick Mones saved Salto AFC from getting behind. Xuban Clavells short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Millrick Mones to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 89th minute Cristo Soberon suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Potencia FC made a substitution. Caradaro Bernedo replaced Cristo Soberon. Caio Olmos hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Renaldo Barria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Millrick Mones having to interfere. Potencia FC played a much better game than Salto AFC and deserved their victory. The Salto AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
