But to his dismay, Rios Suso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Peruxu Xavier lost his temper 34 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The crowd rose to their feet as Morgan Ekenberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Egun Teijelo. That made the score 5-0 in the 40 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Morgan Ekenberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Morgan Ekenberg struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morgan Ekenberg in the 92nd minute of play forced Pocitos's goalkeeper Egun Teijelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauro Futbol Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
