The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eleazar Tovar during the 6th minute. Cerro largo uy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Las Piedras City F.C the free kick. A collision led to Cerro largo uy getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Roland Cidiel hit a great ball. Argoitz Guifens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beltza Lanza having to interfere. Eleazar Tovar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Silas Willium had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lluterio Toyo took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baltasar Urruchi. Baltasar Urruchi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Frantxizko Arranz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Beltza Lanza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Las Piedras City F.C booed when Cerro largo uy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frantxizko Arranz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lluterio Toyo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cerro largo uy's Baltasar Urruchi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noe Uranga in the 52nd minute of play. Baltasar Urruchi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silas Willium, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Las Piedras City F.C's Goiz Santiuste got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Lluterio Toyo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lluterio Toyo in the 79th minute of play forced Cerro largo uy's goalkeeper Baltasar Urruchi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltasar Urruchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lluterio Toyo in the 85th minute of play. After 93 minutes of play Cerro largo uy's Roland Cidiel was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. There was no doubt that Las Piedras City F.C were the better team. Las Piedras City F.C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
