If Urti Albisu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Llorienzo Gonzalez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidor Pelaez kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. A collision led to Oribe getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Gilberto Toribia hit a great ball. Urti Albisu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Nicolas Soldevilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 23 in the game by Primeiro Balerdi from a close distance when the talented Xayveon Belaunde managed to make a qualified save. Piriapolis's players were relieved. Primeiro Balerdi in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Xayveon Belaunde, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 31st minute, Generosb Garriga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xayveon Belaunde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generosb Garriga in the 34th minute of play. Xayveon Belaunde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidor Pelaez, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urti Albisu in the 41st minute of play forced Oribe's goalkeeper Nicolas Soldevilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Soldevilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Llorienzo Gonzalez in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Llorienzo Gonzalez struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Nicolas Soldevilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piriapolis. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Piriapolis's goalkeeper Xayveon Belaunde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Piriapolis's Urti Albisu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Nicolas Soldevilla didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 63rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. In the 66th match minute, Piriapolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martinez Leira to maneuver through the defense. Maule Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match Herensuge Urquiaga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xayveon Belaunde showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Primeiro Balerdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oribe's Nicolas Soldevilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Oribe from getting a goal against them. In the 79th match minute, Oribe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Betardo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generosb Garriga in the 82nd minute of play forced Piriapolis's goalkeeper Xayveon Belaunde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Primeiro Balerdi took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xayveon Belaunde. Xayveon Belaunde dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 94th play minutes Urti Albisu shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Nicolas Soldevilla and just under the crossbar into goal. The Piriapolis supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Piriapolis would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
