The Tambores FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Tambores FC's Giro Nestares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joanes Pizarro in the 17th minute of play. Mambru Guardiola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giro Nestares having to interfere. Tambores FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Quijana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Yacot FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Francisco Villajane hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardo Quijana to make the kick off. The Yacot FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tambores FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Tambores FC.
