An unexpectedly hard shot by Harkaitz Barrieta in the 25th minute of play forced Vichadero's goalkeeper Iyan Ruesga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steven Letran hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Christiano Prados hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Vichadero's Andoni Cancela tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Urki Gorron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iraitz Vilela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Josepe Resco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iraitz Vilela was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Kinsen Vigalondo's late challenge caught a Pedrera 's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kinsen Vigalondo helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes Vichadero got a freekick which was hit by Kinsen Vigalondo. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Pedrera 's zone, Josepe Resco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iraitz Vilela came out of the goal and Josepe Resco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedrera 's Iraitz Vilela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Pedrera from getting a goal against them. Vichadero's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
