The supporters of Miguez AFC booed when Penarol FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gomez Fajardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Geronimo Urive took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Teobaldo Socobio to make any attempt to save it. In the 47th minute, Geronimo Urive got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gomez Fajardo to strike the kick off in the second half. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Miguez AFC fully deserved thier win.
